The ZSNES is arguebly one of the best SNES emulators out on the internet. It was created by zsKnight & _Demo_. The latest version is: ZSNES v1.51. It works on the WIN, DOS & Linux. It is updated with new releases every once in a while

It has a few features such as saving states, fast forwarding, rewinding, etc. Also you can change the background of the ZSNES pause if you wish. It can read a wide assortment of ROMs too. It can save cheats, has a turbo key command, and can save several options on a state for different games. It also has a WIDE range of customization anyone can do.  The ZSNES also has a high priority mode where most of the CPU will be taken for the use of the emulator and can disable the screen saver as long as the emulator is active; both are given as options for convenience of the user if they so wish.

Some of the things that brings it down is the input menu isn't exactly accurate and tends just to be a burden if used for an input of a key combination. Sometime the ZSNES won't be able to read some games AND/OR some parts of a game and will just fill the screen with a random assortment of colors, crash, etc. For some games such as rogue RPGs using save states or rewind will cause a loss of you're current save file. The ZSNES isn't compatible with all types of cheats and will sometimes ignore some cheats or reuse some cheats even when you remove them.

Overall it's a good emulator that will continue to get better as new releases are sent on the internet and is personally my favorite emulator.
